A Day in the Life of this Work At Home Mom!

Hello Fellow Candle Lovers!

Best commute EVER!

I commute across the hall, literally about 10 steps! The only 'traffic' I have is one of my pets trying to herd me towards the food bowl. The only 'detour' I have is if my daughter hears me up and hollers for me to pop into her room.

Boot up the computer and get to work!

I get up around 7 am each day, I used to dread getting up early for work - I LOVE it now because I love what I do. I boot up the computer and start answering emails, etc...

Get up the kiddo and breakfast time!

No rush, we can prepare breakfast at our leisure. Be it cereal, eggs or something more extravagant like waffles - I have the time to do it!

She's off to play...

While my 7 year old is playing Brat Dollz or listening to music in her room while coloring I get back to work! I can do my calls, emails, process orders, etc.. I always take time out to pop in for a tickle torture session or a bike ride around the block. I'm the boss so I am sure to give myself breaks as needed!

Lunchtime!

Today she had soup (it's 90 out kids are crazy) and I had a refreshing, crisp salad! We ate in the back yard under the shade. Was a wonderful picnic, what a blessing!

Making plans...

We made plans, tomorrow we're heading to Carson City to do some shopping - I can - because I work at HOME! Friday we have a date for the pool (we go once a week) and whatever else comes up, we'll do it!

Later Today...

...we will head to Smith's Grocery to grab a new propane tank so we can BBQ tonite then we'll make some dinner. It'll be ready without rushing, by the time hubby gets home from work!

I love what I do because I do what I love!
